School of Computing · ANU College of Engineering Computing & Cybernetics
In 2023, this course is on campus with remote adjustments only for participants with unavoidable travel restrictions/visa delays. Students will conduct an individual research project under the close supervision of one or more academic staff. Projects will, at least in part, require the application of theoretical or experimental research techniques. In particular, students will be expected to conduct and present a survey of the literature relevant to the research topic. Students will prepare a thesis reporting on the research project and its outcomes. They will also be expected to present a poster and a short seminar describing their work. Students will be expected to apply their software engineering knowledge and skills in the planning and execution of their research project.
