Research School of Humanities and the Arts · ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences
This course is designed to pair with HUMN9001 Interdisciplinary Humanities Research: Methods, Theories and Skills. It is based around a schedule of research seminars (minimum 10) selected by the PhD candidate. The course is designed to expose students to a broad range of approaches and concepts across the humanities and social sciences, and will ask students to evaluate the seminars within a critical framework that considers not only the content but also the structure and design of the seminar presentation itself. This course will help the candidate to consider their voice while developing their own approach to the public dissemination of their research as well as encouraging them to explore in depth theoretical concepts that may prove useful for their own research.
